~Thecryingtree and I were talking on his bday about the english project cover, and he suggested a pheonix. Only problem with that was my stuff didn't have anything to do with pheonixes and the like XD BUT, I really thought that painting a pheonix would be fun. Sooo...my 4th watercolor painting is Ashes to Ashes, featuring a pheonix that I named Charles
 Isn't he/she so graceful-ish?I'm extremely happy with this XD!! I had no clue on what to do with his/her wings, and I think I pulled it off fantastically. The only thing I'm a bit iffy about is the background, just gray cuz I was thinking Pheonix = ashes, but i ended up getting gray and un-dried Micron all over the place, so of course Charles isn't completely flawless. HOWEVER, i still love how he/she came out It was lots of fun drawing/painting this.About Charles' feet, I used a ref..[link] thanks lots, ~mistressjera-stock! Anyhoos, I finished it just today, and they say that whatever you do on the first day of the year you'll be doing for the rest...so i guess I'll be doing lots of painting. hopefully so, because it's loads of fun!!
